Lately my spending habits have definitely changed and having more time at home has a lot to do with that. I’ve been thinking more about what I have in my wardrobe, the essentials I need and how much I wear each piece. And quite simply i’ve concluded that I can live with much less.
Now, as the world is changing and the fashion industry itself is thinking more about sustainability, I feel its our duty to adopt these principals before more of our world is affected for the worse. There are a lot of ways brands are now tackling these subjects; through second-hand clothing, slow and fair fashion, local production and the use of organic & recycled materials. For Superdry specifically they’ve just released their latest footwear collection certified by the Vegan Society, having passed 172 checks to ensure they’ve abstained from the use of animal products. Not only have they ground their trainers into powder to make sure there are zero animal traces but their adhesives are also 100% water-based and use pigments and materials that are 100% vegan. These are but a few of the things Superdry have done with their ecological future in mind. But the question is; how about you?
