John’s passion lies within visual storytelling, to create content that is inspired by experiences, travels, his fascination with east asian culture and outlandish style. As a photographer, producer and art director, He’s worked on an abundance of projects with many brands, allowing him to utilise his skills in content creation, filmmaking, brand consultancy, styling and more. It’s this type of work that gives him a broader view on the world and its culture and gives him great opportunities to tell stories that would otherwise be overlooked.

Kali, the proud son of a Gurkha warrior grew up in the rural foothills of the Nepalese Himalayas only to find himself years later living a 24-hr a day life in the concrete chaos of London gaining knowledge in economics and a degree in sportswear design. Whilst a lot of his time is spent modelling, styling and designing, you can also find him trekking through mountainous terrain in the search for adventure

Hat maker aficionado, born on the island of Java, raised as a Mowgli-Metropolitan in one of the most populated cities in the world; Jakarta, Indonesia. Galih moved to London alone at 17 to discover his father’s heritage, and has never left. He traverses a melting pot of Fashion, Music, Food and Modelling guised under @galihrichardson. Having working in the hat trade for 4 years, he knows a thing or two about headgear, and is currently sourcing/designing hats for his own client base, with the hope of launching his own brand in the near future.

Born in LA, bred in London with the heritage of Taiwan spiralling in his cells. This diversity is reflected in his portfolio of works to date. On some days he indulges in the artful yet technical thrill of being a holistic cosmetic dentist, whilst on others the hours are spent behind the lens or screen, creating beautiful content for clients or himself. Being in his flow state on any project is the fuel.
London-based photographer and cycling enthusiast Yu born in the land of the rising sun, in Kobe, Japan studied Art and Design here in London. He regularly contributes to Dazed and Confused as well as collaborating with many Japanese brands and magazines creating timeless campaign imagery and street style articles.
The OUTLANDERS specialise in bespoke content, feature editorials and video content we create ourselves – this represents over 70% of the content on site.
