Over the summer season we we’re approached by French footwear brand Palladium to help conceptualise and produce their FW17 heritage lookbook – something that doesn’t come easy as the brand is reaching it’s 70th year in the business. So as you can imagine, there was a lot of pressure coming into this project. Inspired by the city of London, we sought out to create something less commercial and more eclectic in terms of styling and direction – opting for a more modern British workwear image as a basis that blended and translated over to womenswear too. The collection consists of various heritage styles featuring it’s famous military style soles – from the Pampa Hi Originale, Pallabosse Mid and Lows to a newer style; a revamped Pampa Hi featuring a removable bag – called the Pampa Solid Ranger TP. Peep the campaign film below shot in and around East London’s Shoreditch area modelled by our very own Eshan Kali and a few new friends.
