Earlier this year I was approached by Canadian born outerwear brand Nobis to breathe new life into their SS18 campaign. Made up of a collection of over 20 male and female styles, the Nobis ‘Transitional’ collection combines premium high tech materials gearing towards a more city-friendly approach to it’s designs with simple modern silhouettes. Each piece has been meticulously tailored with both style and functionality in mind, as classic fitted silhouettes are reinterpreted as performance outerwear designed for global movement and unpredictable weather. This spring offering sees an array of colours in reds, muted blues and dusty pinks but we chose to focus more on a monochromatic colour palette. Shooting in and around East London’s Shoreditch area our aim was to make Nobis more accessible to the European market opting for casting younger, edgier faces and a more editorial approach to direction and photography.
