For those of you who don’t know, I recently moved away from the hustle and bustle of London life, to a small town on the coast of North Wales. Temporarily of course. At first, it wasn’t an easy choice to leave but having being here for a couple of months, i’m starting to see the appeal with its laid-back community and endless supply of things to shoot. Its a nice change of pace for sure. So where do I go first? Well, Snowdonia of course!
Snowdonia National Park is extremely big and confusing, but after days of research. And I mean having the wife look up the best spots to visit, we ended up in one of the most beautiful places i’ve seen in the UK. I haven’t been to the southern part of Snowdonia yet, but hands down, Ogwen Valley is the best place to visit on any trip to North Wales. There are a lot of different footpaths up the mountain towards Llyn Idwal (one of the many lakes nestled within the valley) and if you take the most direct route, you’ll come across a beautiful footbridge over a waterfall. Be sure to wrap up warm and no floppy hats! The wind can sometimes go up to 60mph here. I learnt that the hard way. Well theres not much more to say than; enjoy the shots I managed to brave the crazy winds for!
