PERCIVAL: 1 OF 30 MADE IN LONDON COLLECTION

Percival have ironically released a limited edition range of outerwear & knitwear for December in the quintessentially London cinnamon, off white, and blue that resemble textiles we would be more used to lining our Piccadilly Line.  Ironic because the Piccadilly Line is currently on a limited train service, whilst Percival are moving from strength to strength!
The collection colours resemble London’s groundbreaking tube facelift in 2010 by WallaceSewell textiles, but with Percival’s custom ‘blanket’ weave and luxury Melton Wools. This blanket weave uses the technique of completely reversing areas of jacquard to give the appearance of multiple tones in a limited colour pallet.

They have produced only 30 of each garment in this London based constructed collection.  Materials are stunning Portuguese woven organic Lambswool in Indigo and Tufted Heather w/ contrasting cinnamon, yolk Pantone.  With styles ranging from the Percival Pea Coat, to the stunning Sheepskin collar Whitley jacket and Outer-shirt which have been brought back in their classic neutrals of navy and charcoal

Ive always loved Percival for their attention to detail when it comes to selecting materials and fabrics to invite you in, and make you want to experience the wear of the garment, as well as the look.  Being a young company, produced in London, their short runs are second to none and need to be experienced!  As Chris Gove has now updated to an Online platform, his experimentation is going to be one to watch as we head into a new era of Percival’s prowess of sensational MADE IN LONDON menswear.
