Continuing the conversation when it comes to recyclable materials, Christopher Raeburn have partnered with MCM to create a unisex limited edition luxury bomber collection, using shattered form camouflage in classic black, yolk yellow, grey, and powdered blue tones.  The ‘Made to Move’ SS17 collection have implemented innovative materials such as the Schoeller 4 way stretch, a lightweight scratch and water resistant, dirt repellent new textile with a UV stop as well as Ecoalf Nylon made from recycled bottles.  The collection is a much more simplified, streetwise silhouette, with shorts, trenches, and some pretty astounding holdalls and backpacks.  I have so much time for unisex collections, as my silhouette is suited to both women’s and menswear, which has been something more universally accepted recently, and seems to be trending in 2017.  The trousers are slim, w/ tux detailing, and certain styles cropped.  Featuring Parka’s, Cape’s, and sleeveless Trenchcoats.  Raeburn’s ‘protective’ sustainable silhouette is going strong, and i’m excited to experience these pieces in the flesh, because as always with Raeburn, the FEEL is as important as the LOOK.
